I’m a true believer in the impact that great HR can have on organizational success. I’ve devoted my professional life to ensuring that HR professionals succeed, and are recognized for the essential contributions they make.
After spending 15 years in the HR trenches, rising from HR generalist to VP, I saw first-hand the challenges and opportunities that HR professionals experience every day. Then I spent 10 years as CEO of NCHRA (Northern California Human Resources Association) a nonprofit membership association focused on advancing the practice of human resources and the careers of HR professionals.
Leading the Merit HR team is the perfect opportunity to live my values and give back to our HR community. My vision is for Merit HR to deliver all the resources that HR professionals need to create successful HR teams, contribute to their organization’s success and grow their own careers.
Outside of work, you’ll find me spending time with my husband and two adult kids catching live music at festivals and small local concerts and exploring the local food scene.
Anne leads service delivery operations, driving the development and execution of Merit’s staffing, search and consulting services.
She has extensive experience in management, HR, operations, sales, and accounting. When Anne’s not working, she’s enjoying time with her family and participating in the community. She’s also an avid gardener and dedicated pilates enthusiast.

Since 2010, Anna has provided results for clients in varying industries including manufacturing, retail, skilled trades, hospitality, financial and professional services. She is passionate in helping people achieve their goals. She believes every individual holds a potential for greatness. The right environment can turn that potential into truth. In her spare time, Anna likes taking long walks with her dogs, spending time with her family and friends, trying new foods, listening to live music, playing sports, and drinking a warm cup of americano.
Peggy has more than 20 years of experience in a variety of human resources, recruiting, and administrative roles. She has an eye for detail and loves to provide great customer service to all those she supports. When she is not hiking or backpacking to alpine lakes, Peggy loves spending time with her family and dog, practicing yoga and reading.
Lorenzo is a skilled executive recruiter with experience in various fields and industries. He has a bachelor’s degree in Consular Diplomatic Affairs from the De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde. He either pursues improving his passion for music production or plays one of the various outdoor sports he loves.
Brian is one of the firm’s original employees and has held every role in the organization. He has broad knowledge of HR systems and programs, with hands-on experience in many human resources disciplines, including employment, employee relations, labor, safety and risk management. He is an outdoor enthusiast with a particular passion for sailing and golf in the company of friends and family.
