A full generalist role, develop and promote HR initiatives in all areas of the profession.
Roles & Responsibilities of Sr. HR Generalist:
- Creating an inspiring, enriching and informative experience for our employees
- Be an advocate for all staff, improving morale, accountability, retention, security, performance and opportunities
- Plan and manage department workflow and processes; develop increasing levels of efficiency in all departments through continuous process improvement
- Ensure that policies and procedures are up-to-date and in accordance with federal, national and local employment regulations; Coaching Management Policy and Best Practices
- Development and management of effective talent acquisition and retention programs and practices
- Create strong relationships with employees, suppliers and guests
- Create and manage the incorporation processes and new rental documentation procedures
- Provide HR expertise and provide staff with accurate and timely HR information; advise if necessary
- Managing productive resolution and documentation of employee relations issues and liaising between managers and employees
- Managing employee benefits and compensation
- Maintain compliance, including proactive updating and communication of policies, documentation, processes and necessary communications and posters
What we are looking for:
- 5+ years of dedicated experience in Human Resources, preferably in a leadership role and ideal with experience in building an HR function
- Excellent interpersonal and communicative skills; proven ability to connect, support and empathize with a variety of people and perspectives
- Proven knowledge of project management, documentation and process strengthening skills
- In-depth knowledge of local, federal and state employment laws and compliance regulations
- A natural curiosity and motivation to help people and improve things
- Collaborator, builder and problem solver
- Commitment to support a workforce that has to be on site by HR being onsite
- Fluent written and spoken English and Spanish or Chinese preferred
