We’re a full-service property management company that is growing rapidly. We’re currently seeking a Senior HR-Generalist to help us implement and improve our policies and practices for 50-75 employees. In this role, you will support several departments within the company, play an integral part of our leadership team, and help us strategically grow the business while maintaining high employee engagement.
Senior HR-generalist job description:
- Creating or improving HR strategies in alignment with company goals.
- Maintain a detailed knowledge of legal requirements relating to the day-to-day management and employment of employees. Compliance with employment laws, company policies and procedures.

- Provide performance guidance that supports employees on a day-to-day basis.
- Positive and cohesive work environment for all employees, responsible for communicating HR practices and events and aim to ensure that everyone understands the company’s expectations and goals, and feels supported in their work.
- Provide a comprehensive range of management services to support the recruitment, retention, development and compensation of employees.
- Support the company’s Employee Handbook
- Manage payroll processing
- Manage multiple priorities, communications at all levels, handling confidential and sensitive materials
What we are looking for:
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent in human resources, business, or a related field
- HR certification a plus
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
- Minimum of 3-5 years of HR experience; 2-3 years in a management level HR role preferred
- Knowledge of the Microsoft Office & Excel
- Must have benefit and payroll software experience (ADP preferred)
- Develop relationships with staff members and maintain confidentiality and possess management abilities and be able to approach them confidently and convincingly.
- Have the ability to influence decision-making and have the courage to make tough decisions
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
- Exceptionally strong follow-through skills and the ability to anticipate and address business needs proactively.
