Ideal candidate will have experience developing and supporting organization-wide talent management programs that cover performance management, talent development, coaching, succession planning, data analytics and relationship management.
Roles & Responsibilities of HR Generalist:
- Review, track, and document compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments
- Recruit, interview, and facilitate the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions; collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings
- Implement new hire orientation and employee recognition programs
- Administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development
- Handle employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff
- Participate in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations. Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance
- Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law
- Provide expertise in the implementation of the review process to achieve business goals
- Develop, initiate, and maintain effective programs for enhancing job satisfaction and career paths
- Manage the maintenance and execution of the onboarding and company processes, including coaching managers, and gathering and synthesizing information from different managers. Conduct presentations and training.

- Strong project management abilities, with experience managing internal and external team members of various skill levels with disparate project responsibilities
- Must be a positive team player and demonstrate professional demeanor and communicate in a clear and polite manner in person and on the phone
- Bachelor’s degree, SHRM certification or equivalency and five years of broad HR experience
- HR certifications such as SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) are a plus
