Well established and rapidly growing construction firm known for their high quality standards and diverse, inclusive culture is seeking a Director of Talent Acquisition to lead the recruiting efforts and strategic direction and objectives of this employee-owned company.

What you will do:

  • Lead the development and implementation of strategic talent acquisition tactics and evaluation of the entire recruiting function, strategies, and procedures in order to find opportunities for improvement
  • Assess external labor market conditions and develop the most effective, economical, and appropriate sources/channels and methods to recruit talent
  • Oversee full cycle recruitment in support of all the business’s functions
  • Build, engage, inspire, manage, and develop a high-performing recruiting team
  • Lead your team to develop innovative and scalable solutions to proactively build diverse candidate pools and deliver talent to hiring management to meet hiring needs
  • Design and execute innovative sourcing strategies and ensure a high-touch candidate experience
  • Partner with senior leadership by serving as an advisor for key leadership hires and talent needs within the business
  • Set team performance goals and metrics, timeline and manage progress
  • Leverage data to measure the effectiveness of current practices and drive decisions regarding new strategy and tactics
  • Deliver talent and manage candidate pipeline activity to meet or exceed hiring timelines and deliverables

What we are looking for:

  • Minimum 8 years working experience in a senior recruiting position with 3 years leading a talent acquisition team, preferably at a large company (6,000+ employees)
  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or other related profession preferred
  • HR certifications a plus (PHR, SHRM-SP)
  • Experience with creative approaching to sourcing talent a plus
  • Proven and successful experience managing full-cycle recruiting processes consisting of sourcing, screening, and on-boarding
  • Experience with an HRIS and ATS database (Taleo/Oracle preferred)
  • Experience partnering with leadership and driving hiring initiatives at all levels of the organization
  • Excellent planning and organization skills; attention to detail
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team and influence senior leaders
  • Possess excellent interpersonal skills
  • Able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks, changing priorities as necessary
  • Ability to travel up to 25% as needed
