Personal Information Collected
We collect personally identifiable information when you subscribe to one of our newsletters. We collect this information so that we can deliver the information you request from us, and so that we can ensure that the messages we send are relevant to you and/or your company.
We do not share, sell, or give away personally identifiable information to anyone, including e-mail addresses, unless legally required to do so (e.g., as part of a law enforcement investigation). If you are a member of the HR Registrysm, we may ask permission to share information about you with a client when you are a candidate for employment. (See HR Registrysm Information Policies, below.)
We may use your e-mail address to communicate with you about job opportunities, to bring you information about HR services and resources, to deliver informational newsletters, or to confirm your attendance at a Merit-sponsored function
Opt-Out Procedures
You may choose to opt out of our mailing list at any time by sending e-mail to the Webmaster (webmaster@merithr.com). You may also call us at 925-867-4400, and request removal. We include opt-out instructions with every mailing we send.
We will make every effort to honor each opt-out request as soon as possible. Such requests are normally processed within three business days. Please understand that some mailings may already be in progress when we receive your request. Therefore, you may receive some additional mailings from us after a request for removal has been received.
HR Registrysm Information Policies
We collect personally identifiable information when you choose to submit an online profile for the HR Registrysm. Information collected includes personal contact information, skills, education, preferences, job history, and resumes. We use this information to match your skills, interests, and desires with the contract and direct-hire employment opportunities available through our clients.
Information you provide to us when you enroll in the Registry is kept strictly confidential. Access to the Registry database is strictly limited to members of Merit's core staff. Clients and other members of the Registry cannot access, edit, or search through Registry information.
In the course of filling employment opportunities, we may disclose employment-related information about you to our clients. This may include, but is not limited to: employment history, skills, resume data, and staff interview notes.
We will not disclose information about you to a client without your permission.
